3D toolpath preview

For CNCjs and GRBL machines
Ask Claude to open a job and a live 3D toolpath appears right in the conversation. Scrub through it, watch the machine move, and start, pause or stop from your desk or your phone.
Open Settings → Connectors → Add custom connector. Name it Agentic Numerical Control, paste this address and choose Sign in now.

The installer shows a short code and a link. Sign in, check the code matches, and the PC is linked. From then on it starts by itself whenever you sign in to the computer.

State, position and progress straight from CNCjs, with a clear warning if updates stop.
Load, start, pause, resume and stop. Start always takes a second click, and only works on an idle, ready machine.
Your computer connects out to your account. No ports are opened and nothing on your network is exposed.
A Windows, Mac or Linux computer connected to a GRBL-based CNC machine by USB, and an assistant that supports custom connectors: Claude on a paid plan, or ChatGPT where your plan allows custom plugins (beta). The installer brings everything else, including CNCjs. If you already run CNCjs, it uses yours.
Put them in Documents/Agentic Numerical Control on the computer, then ask your assistant to show one by name. You can also paste G-code into the chat, or load a file in CNCjs and ask to see the loaded job.
anc status shows whether the computer is linked and where files and logs are. anc setup links it again. anc unlink stops it starting at sign-in and removes the link. It updates itself when it starts.
Starting a job needs a deliberate second click in the viewer, a live connection, an idle machine and the same job loaded in CNCjs. The preview is a toolpath preview only: it doesn't simulate material removal or collisions. An on-screen stop is not an emergency stop, so keep your physical e-stop within reach.
Signing in creates an account. It holds your linked computers and the assistants you've connected, and you can unlink or disconnect any of them on the account page. Your G-code stays on your computer and is only sent when your assistant asks to show or run a job.
If your assistant says the PC is offline, check the computer is on and run anc status. The log file it lists shows connection problems. Removing and re-adding the connector fixes most sign-in issues.
